• In January 2024, Co-op launched a kitchen towel produced from 100% recycled content. The retailer said it would roll out its new range of towels in 1,000 stores during the opening months of the year, under its Honest Value range. Co-op estimates the move will save 230 tonnes of pure pulp. Priced at £1.85, the new own-brand kitchen towel will be 5% cheaper than the current Honest Value SKU.
